• A FESTU delegation took part in a session about the international activity of campuses.

    A FESTU delegation consisting of the International Activity Department’s head, Svetlana Khan, and associate professor of chair “Finances and Accountancy," curator of participation FESTU in the interuniversity campus in Khabarovsk, Elena Kondratova, took part in the strategic session “Forming of approaches for the development of campuses international activity." The session was held within the framework of the International Festival of Young People in Sochi, on the federal territory of "Sirius.”.

    Representatives of 17 campus projects from different cities in Russia, experts, and moderator teams took part in the session.

    During the three days of strategic session, participants discussed the most actual questions: positioning the campus on the international market (network partnership), youth policy towards foreign students, development and positioning of products for foreign students and employees (social, educational, and scientific), and infrastructural and service requirements for the campus.

    Inter alia, the presentation of the interuniversity campus in Khabarovsk has taken place. Stand with a model of campus-interested guests of the International Festival of Young People in Sochi, which was also visited by the Governor of Khabarovsk region, Mikhail Degtyarev.

  • The FESTU rector took part in the Association of Russian and Chinese Transport transport Rectors Forum.

    FESTU rector Vladimir Burovcev took part in the VII Forum of the Russian Chinese Association of Transport University Rectors, which was held in Moscow at the Russian University of Transport.

    The activity of the association was summarized at the forum, where sessions were held in sections “New challenges and solutions in transport education" and “Plans and tasks of the Russian Chinese Transport Universities Rectors Association”.

    FESTU rector Vladimir Burovcev performed a report within the framework section of the session ‘Achievements of Transport Science and Technologies: New Horizons in the Scientific Field". He noted that one of the main factors contributing to the development of economic cooperation between Russia and China is knowledge exchange in the innovation and scientific fields. He gave statistics about container shipping by railway transport and also through sea ports and told about the strategic project “National East Center of Competencies for Transport Technologies—East University of Transport”, and the perspectives of analysis and forecasting polytransport technologies within the framework program “Priority 2030”.

  • A FESTU delegation took part in the international forum in China.

    An important international forum on the talent development of “Russian language+” was held in Shenzhen (Guangdong province). The FESTU delegation took part in this forum too.

    More than 300 heads, teachers, and students from 56 schools, 16 regions and 32 cities in China, as well as more than 60 guests from Russian regions, took part in this forum. Besides the heads of schools, representatives of Chinese and Russian universities were invited.

    The FESTU delegation reached an agreement about continuing the cooperation between gymnasiums #6 Harbin. Among the active forms of cooperation are conducting “Bridges of Friendship”, in summer educational schools, both for school students in Harbin in Khabarovsk and for Khabarovsk students in Harbin.

    Also, there was a productive meeting of the FESTU delegation with the Experimental School of Harbin and the directors of other schools in Harbin and Changchun.

    Delegation is also performed on the forum with the report about FESTU as the biggest university in the Far East of Russia and generally about the cooperation of the university with educational institutions in China, in particular.
