Get the invitation for studying and studying visa.
Step 1: Application for admission
1. Application for admission in additional general education programs that provide training for foreign citizens to master professional educational programs in Russian.
2. Original document on foreign education and/or foreign qualifications
If the document on foreign education and/or foreign qualification and the passport contain different surnames and (or) first names of the holder, then in addition to the listed documents, you must provide:
- A document on the change of name and (or) surname, if the name and (or) surname have been changed - with a copy certified by a notary or a translation (if the document is in a foreign language).
3. A scanned copy of a duly legalized document of a foreign state on education and / or foreign qualifications and its annex (if the latter is provided for by the legislation of the state in which such a document was issued). The need for legalization of a document of a foreign state on education and / or foreign qualifications and annexes to it can be clarified by the link:
4. A scanned copy of a notarized translation (or a duly certified copy if the document is completely duplicated in Russian) of the main document of a foreign state on education and (or) foreign qualification and its annex, including translation of the seals on the document on foreign education and (or) foreign qualifications and annexes to it.
5. A scanned copy of a foreign passport in the native language (valid for at least 18 months from the date of enrollment (01 September of the current year).
6. A scanned copy of a notarized translation of a foreign passport into Russian:
- If the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation or a passport of a foreign citizen with full duplication in Russian (pages with personal data, photograph, issuing authority and date of issue, place of residence are needed) - a simple copy.
- If the document is in a foreign language - a notarized translation of the passport (or a translation of the seal, if the rest of the text is in Russian) with a filed copy of the original.
Step 2: Housing application. Medical certificate
After approving of your application you must take a medical examination in your home country to enter the Russian Federation:
1. Do HIV-test (use international certificate in English)
2. Do a chest X-ray (certificate in English)
3.Ask your doctor to fill an “Admission Medical Examination Report” (download). Filled “Admission Medical Examination Report”
4. Send to ois@festu.khv.ru the following documents:
- Scan of a filled “Admission Medical Examination Report” or health certificate and vaccine certificate with notarized translation must be certified with a doctor’s signature and a seal of a medical institution
- Scan of a Chest X-ray (proving that you have no tuberculosis)
- Scan of a HIV-test certificate
NOTICE: HIV-test is valid for 3 months
Step 3: Application for visa invitation
In order to enter the Russian Federation you need to achieve a student visa. The required document for visa issuing is an official visa invitation, provided by the Russian Federal Migration Service (UFMS).
To get an official visa invitation you need to:
1. Fill in an “Application for Invitation” (download)
2. Send to ois@festu.khv.ru the following documents:
- Scan of a filled “Application for Invitation”
- Scan of your previous Russian visa (if any)
- Your digital photo ( .jpeg)
Our coordinator will send you an invitation to an address you wrote in an “Application for Invitation”.
Your invitation will be ready within 45 calendar days. The manager will send an official invitation to the address specified in the "Application form for issuing an invitation".
If during the period of study you want to live in the dormitory of FESUPS, you need to:
1. Fill in the form "Application for residence".
2.Send the completed application for accommodation by e-mail to the address ois@festu.khv.ru
Step 4: Getting an invitation.
Getting a visa
Your invitation will be send to you via the way you have mentioned in an “Application for Invitation”. In order to get your student visa you need to address Russian Consulate or Embassy at your home country.
- When you get your visa, you need to send a scan of your visa to ois@festu.khv.ru
Step 5: Airport pick-up request
You can purchase an airplane ticket to Khabarovsk right after your visa is ready. FESTU volunteers will meet you at the airport according to your “Airport pick-up request”.
